A Christmas Carol: This movie has a tradition of being retold and remade going all the way back to Thomas Edison who made the first movie. This incarnation should be funny and is a fully animated version with Jim Carrey starring as Ebenezer Scrooge. I hope they fixed the animation flaw that left a haunted vacant look in everyone’s eyes. Probably a renter.
The Fourth Kind: starring Milla Jovovich a plus. Trailer looks really interesting. This is definitely a renter and maybe even a theater.
2012: a disaster film which will feature some of the more scarier natural disasters out there like Yellowstone's super volcano. I’m curious to see how they pull of the message behind the movie but I have seen so many of these go wrong which leaves me leery to watch it. Definitely a renter but maybe even a theater.
Planet 51: the premise makes me laugh and with the voice cast like this I’m looking forward to watch this movie. Theater.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon: I did not care for the books, characters or setting. The first movie was really bad. Real werewolves don’t look like border collies! Avoid Like Plague.
Fantastic Mr. Fox: looks like a kids movie but not a family movie. The kids will probably like the cute animals. Not even a renter.
Ninja Assassin: get any project with J. Michael Straczynski and the Wachowski brothers working on it and I’m there. The trailer looks awesome! Theater.
The Road: I like Viggo Mortensen so that is a plus but the post apocolypse movies tend to fall short and end up dissappointing me. This is a renter… maybe.
